Linden Books finds used books and get them to new book-lovers that will read and treasure them again.

We love books, and we want to share some of the greatest classic crime and vintage books around with other book lovers. You can’t always afford to buy books when they are new, especially when there are so many brilliant authors and titles around. By buying used books you can afford to read more widely, and your personal library can grow more quickly.

Not only that, most book shops only stock the newest titles and the most popular authors, so you can’t always find the book you want. We stock as many authors and editions as we can get hold of, to bring within your reach that elusive author or hard-to-find older cover artwork.

We don’t claim to be the cheapest seller of second hand books around, but we are proud to give the type of service that we would like to receive ourselves when buying a preloved book.

What You See is What You Get

Unlike some online used book sellers, we never use stock photos of books, and we don’t send you a book that has a different cover than the one you thought you were buying. We photograph each and every book individually and give an individual description of its condition and any imperfections it may have.
