Description
A vintage hardback book in good condition. Ngaio Marsh is a very well respected crime writer from New Zealand whose passion was the theatre. As a result many of her books have theatrical settings. This particular story takes place on a pleasure cruise embarked upon by Inspector Alleyn’s wife, the famous painter Troy. Events soon turn sinister as Troy’s unusual fellow passengers begin to act a little strangely. The clutch of constables refers to paintings as well as policemen, in this excellent crime mystery.
