Description
A vintage paperback book in good condition for its age. Ngaio Marsh is a very well respected crime writer from New Zealand whose passion was the theatre. As a result many of her books have theatrical settings. This story is set in a country house party setting, where the guests are snowed in and then a murder takes place. This may all sound a little predictable, but Marsh’s writing is so fine and her characterisation so excellent, that it reads in a fresh and exciting manner.
There is a little shelf wear and bumping around the edges, some reading creases on the spine and some discolouration of the internal pages. There is an inscription on the first inside page. The binding is sound and there are no loose or missing pages.
