Description
A vintage paperback book in good condition for its age. Ngaio Marsh is a very well respected crime writer from New Zealand whose passion was the theatre. As a result many of her books have theatrical settings. This story is set on a New Zealand wool auction, where a nasty smell leads to the discovery of a dead body in the bales of wool. Marsh’s writing is very fine and her characterisation is excellent, making this a must for any crime collection.
There is a little shelf wear and bumping around the edges, some reading creases on the spine and some discolouration of the internal pages. There is an inscription on the first inside page. The binding is sound and there are no loose or missing pages.
