As a former jockey the author knows the racing world and can also craft a well plotted and exciting story. Whilst his heroes may be flawed, they are immensely likeable and you find yourself really rooting for them. This is one of his best novels in our opinion.One of his earlier books (which in our opinion marks it as one his best).
Condition of book: This book is in very good condition, particularly for its age. There are faint reading creases on the spine and a tiny amount of shelf wear. The binding is sound and there are no loose or missing pages.
