A paperback book in acceptable condition. Ngaio Marsh is a very well respected crime writer from New Zealand whose passion was the theatre. As a result many of her books have theatrical settings. This story is set in a country house party setting, where a version of the Murder Game is being played. Unfortunately when the lights go up a real corpse is discovered. Marsh’s writing is very fine and her characterisation is excellent, making this a must for any crime collection.
